Album Notes

Hey Folks! This CD marks my first journey into some long overdue musical self-expression. I started playing guitar when i was 13, and since then, no matter what life has served up to me, i've always had a guitar with me. I have gone from social work to truck driving, with lots of jobs in between; I am now a teacher in Central Florida. The songs on "Outside Chance" are a reflection of those experiences, or those of folks i've met along the way. We all have stories to tell. The greatest lesson i've ever learned was that while our experiences may be similar, we all have our own unique expressions and ways of telling those stories. I hope you enjoy the way i've told mine on this CD.

Yours,

Marylea

REVIEWS

Refreshing authenticity and substance in a tasty, honest style

Singer/songwriter Marylea Lueth’s CD, “Outside Chance,” is a keeper. It’s the opening salvo of a talented Folk artist I expect to hear more from. This CD features Lueth's fresh voice with songs of love, loss, joy, dreams and just plain fun. Some nice backup in several songs. Her honest, energetic delivery belies the unmistakable aromas of time, change and experience that clearly sculpt her lyrics. I didn't wait for a second chance to buy it – and was glad I didn't.
