Mary Lovett is an unusual singer songwriter. Her music is sophisticated and playful, taking influences from folk blues soul and everyday life. This coupled with her distinctive vocal style will be sure to evoke an emotional response, whether you are moved to laugh or cry.

Her Lyrics are intellegent, heartfelt and at times humerous. She takes an irreverent look at sexual deviance in her track \"Feeder\". Then taking a nostalgic look at the 80\'s Hit TV show Fame with her song Bruno Martelli. She is a great believer in possitive thought and this is reflected in her song Flying in Full Colours. Mary is venturing into multi media in her live shows,documenting the characters in her songs using projected images. Mary formally a member of Mythtwister who played at Glastonbury 05 attracting media attention and radio play. Mary has been involved in numerous recording projects as a backing vocalist, with Mythtwister and in her own right.

Mary has completed two years of studying at Access to Music College. She graduated with Distinction and was nominated by her tutors for the \"Outstanding Student of the year award\". She was presented the award by Radio One\'s Edith Bowman at the BAFTAS in December 2006.

Mary is also a singing teacher and facilitator providing workshops for adults and children.This is an area that Mary Finds particularly rewarding as she is passionate about the benefits of singing for confidence and self expression and the hightened self esteem that can be achieved through music and song. More recently she has worked as a musical director for two community choirs in Norfolk, England

Currently studying for a degree in music, Mary is enjoying the oportunities to colaborate with other musicians.
