On this 57 min. live cd, Mary Mack talks about her family a lot, and that makes other people feel better about themselves. Also, she speaks and sings of plenty of awkward moments that help you laugh if you ever get stuck in one.

Some things commonly heard at a Mary Mack show:
"I hate comedy, but I liked you." (We don't know if this is good or bad...probably good.)
"I haven't belly laughed in a long time." (Belly laughs are good for the hormones, plus you don't need to do any sit-ups that day.)
"I'll have some of what she's smoking." (Mack isn't smoking anything. She's just normally weird.)

Rumor has it that Mack plans to have some re-editing done to this album and rerelease it as an actual vinyl record. Obviously, she's not in it for the money.

Rated PG 13, not for dummies.

    Not big on puns, or set-ups, or even typical format comedy. There's just a non-threatening silliness that comes from that black humor from family and the middle of the country. It's a guilty pleasure. gobble gobble gobble.

    I saw Mary Mack recently, on "Last Comic Standing," and she was so funny I had to buy this CD. It doesn't disappoint! I've already listened to it five times, and it's just as funny every time. She's a gem!

    Saw Mary live on 12/7/07 at a Christmas party. Liked her so much I bought the CD for my husband as a Christmas gift. This is a great CD to listen to on a road trip. We really appreciate her humor (WI natives). Go Mary!!

    I laughed out loud which looks pretty insane when you are all alone. Very quick witted live album. Buy the CD so you can say I LIKED HER BEFORE SHE WAS FAMOUS! Well worth the wait and cost, I reccomend this CD with all my heart.

    I found Mary Mack while looking up Maria Bamford. She's like Maria Bamford's younger sister (only one funny voice). I've never heard more joke saves and confidence in a comedian. She knows she's different and that's why this is so wonderful. Glorious failures weaving into comedy genius...and some awesome clarinet. I hope she makes another CD in a few months.

    Charming "home grown' variety of comedy CD. The venue and chatter are reminiscent of early Tom and Dick Smothers. Random thoughts tied together with some chain of conscious logic. Unlike her advice that .."if you're going to Iowa and you have enough time...go around".. I advise you to go straight ahead into Mary Mack's world. Doc Bison
