I am from the small town of Bailey, North Carolina. I\'ve been playing and writing music since I was sixteen years old. Last year the good Lord made a change in my life and I promised him to open my heart to others and sing. In doing just that, I entered the Colgate Country Showdown, sponsored by WDWG 98.5 \"The Big Dawg\". I won regionals and then went on to win the North Carolina/South Carolina Colgate Country Showdown. In the end I placed 2nd in the United States Southeast Regionals in Thomaston, Georgia. I am now an on-air personallity from 6am to 10am on WDWG 98.5, which is out of Rocky Mount, NC. Also, I\'ve been a North Carolina state employee for over 10 years.
My first CD, \"Livin\' To Be Free\", is a mixture of modern and traditional country music and I wrote all the songs along with the help of Spook Joyner. This CD is a reflection of my life and values, which brings forth emotions in each and every song. Please continue to keep me in your prayers, because without God everything is impossible.

I had quite a few occasions to hear Mary sing. She is awesome. She sings from the heart and her songs are filled with emotions that only living the song could bring. She is such a wonderful and funny lady. She also has so much love for her young son. God gives special children to special people. Mary is one of those special people.

i dont know you live in bailey nc i was live there for mylife until i got married and moved to lucama nc not far frm bailey so great country so quite place so i am deaf so if yu can write down song with cd words so i can read it words before put the dvd so our deaf church has one but i still look for christain life so i saw it say worship the ground so i try words but i am deaf so i cant hear any things words so you can give me all list of words from one to ten so you can email to us if bout buy one cd if i want ..
