Mary Setrakian lives in New York City and is a Broadway singer who crosses over all styles singing Pop, Jazz, Folk, Classical, Rock and Showtunes.

She has been seen on Broadway in "Hello, Dolly!" starring Carol Channing (cast recording), and toured the US and Europe with shows including "Phantom of the Opera" (Madame Giry), "Les Miserables," "Hello, Dolly!" (seen in several performances as Irene Molloy across from Carol Channing) and "Evita" (as Eva Peron in Duisberg, Germany). Mary was featured at Carnegie Hall in "Jubilee" directed by Herbert Ross.

As a Master Voice Teacher, Mary prepared Nicole Kidman for her Golden Globe Award winning and Oscar nominated performance in her first musical, "Moulin Rouge." Her voice students include Kate Winslet, James Gandolfini, Juliette Binoche, Mandy Moore, Milla Jovovich, Keri Russell, Bobby Cannavale, Tate Donovan, Simone, Patrick Cassidy and the stars and cast members for Disney's Broadway shows including "Tarzan" (Josh Strickland), "Aida" and "The Lion King."

Internationally known, Mary is teaching and performing several times a year in Rome and Milan, Italy, and is writing a book on her amazing voice technique which connects the singing with the acting technique: "The Singing Artist: A WAY OF LIFE" to be published by CURCI, Milan, Italy. She has studied acting with her mentor, Susan Batson, for nearly 20 years.

On ALL I KNOW, her first solo CD, we hear an intimate side of Mary with her wonderfully expressive voice rendering gorgeous clarity and heart warming compassion. With cuts like Lennon & McCartney's "Blackbird," Carly Simon's "Let the River Run," and special renditions of "America the Beautiful" and the a cappella "Amazing Grace," Mary touches the soul of each listener.

Mary shares, "Here stands a reflective group of songs that highlight intimacy, pain, faith and hope. It is MY hope that it will bring healing to your heart and soul."

Rupert Holmes writes "On ALL I KNOW we hear Mary's purest performances ever, rendered with a calm and assured simplicity that instantly soothes the heart. Her voice at every moment of this memorable recording carries with it an unflinching hopefulness that is reassuring and renewing. Could there ever be a more comforting, sustaining and healing musical collection than ALL I KNOW ... and could there ever be a time when we needed it more?"

The incredible musicians who join Mary on this album are co-producers Terry Wollman (guitar) and Robert Miller (piano.) ALL I KNOW is graced by the artistic genius of Luis Conte (percussion), Abraham Laboriel (bass), David Shamban (cello), Curt Bisquera (drums), Trey Henry (acoustic bass), Maritri (piano & background vocals) and Patti Linsky (background vocals.)

Remarkable!

Listening to this CD, I was transported, transfigured, and transmogrified. Her voice, like a Tibetan singing bowl floating in the richest warm chocolate, moves through the varied songbook with a visceral quality infused with pure joy. Spiritual and evocative without being pedantic.
