Album Notes

Mary Sue Rogers and Cari Minor are two singer-songwriter moms from Boulder, Colorado who love kids and music. We combine our two passions by writing and performing original, kid-centered, rhythmic music that is relevant to children and parents alike. Between the two of us, we have seven children, who have given us many fertile ideas for song writing. Audience (or listener) participation is what we love, therefore we write our songs with a variety of repeatable lyrics and melodies, and with as much interaction as we can. Our music is educational but never at the expense of fun. "Oh, No!" is about a child who has written on the wall but may be a budding Georgia O'Keeffee or Claude Monet. In "Germs" we sing about germs in our hair or on the ground. We have been told that our music is the only kids' music families can all agree on; we can be listened to a "gazillion" times, ("...without shooting myself in the foot" as one mother put it!). "Here We Go Again" lets kids have fun being kids, and lets parents enjoy their parenting "trials" with a touch of humor.
