Welcome to "STRANGEHAVEN", the newest chapter in the ongoing MASQUE journey.

Exploring textures of goth, darkwave, folk, alternative rock, and ambience for the past 15 years, Paul Ramey has now created an enticing, stripped-down collection of songs that whispers in your ear like swirling leaves on a cold Autumn day.

Accompanied by one lonely guitar, Ramey offers renditions of some of his most popular compositions, including fan favorite "Sandgrain On Your Beach". Then, as a dreamily-layered treat that brings the album to a sweet climax, Ramey includes a few lushed out, "produced" versions of some of the same compositions, including the powerful and exotic "I Will".

Paul Ramey and his MASQUE project dwells in the shadows of Joni Mitchell, Johnny Cash, Peter Murphy, Marc Almond and My Morning Jacket, but has a sound distinctly his own.
