ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Progressive Rock music has remained for more than 40 years a leader in New Intellectual Music (referred to as Adult Contemporary as well).

The Journey, vol.3: BURSTING is such an Avant-Garde album as well:

*Melodic, often implementing ethnic scales

*Urban Rock leitmotivs with a strong Crossover tendency

*Use of odd Time Signatures & Polyrhythmic structure

*Art Rock chord progressions

A Conceptual Album, part of the World of Music Quatrology project, it uses multi-layered arrangements and protest-song as well as Christian lyrics to express its sentiment.

Bursting is in many ways Avant-Garde: although Blues-based, its connection with Roots and Ethnic Music from the Balkans makes it a challenging Worldbeat album.

Coloured with a few Contemporary Instrumentals, wrapped up in a strong performance and clean production, Bursting makes ideal food for thought for all those exploring and discovering the Intellectual Treasuries of the 21st Century's Art Rock Music.

THE JOURNEY - WORLD OF MUSIC QUATROLOGY

Bursting is the Third Volume in the project called "The Journey - World of Music Quatrology". The four albums make a totality of a musical/spiritual journey.

The albums are mainly acoustic (except Bursting), featuring folk instruments like Bouzouki and Tamboura, as well as Acoustic Guitar. Bursting is an Electric Guitar album.

All albums from Quatrology are in the Arty Ambient World Fusion/New Age style, with music based on the Balkan Roots, especially Macedonian and Greek.

The concept of "Quatrology" is expressing own sensibilities using the scales and rhythms of that region.

Here's the list of all the titles in the project:

*Vol.1: Longing (acoustic, reflective and soothing, instrumentals and songs in English and Macedonian Language)

*Vol.2: Restless (acoustic, uplifting and breezy, mainly instrumentals with one song in English)
*Vol.3: Bursting (electric guitars playing a fusion of Balkan Folk with Hard & Soft Rock; mainly songs in English with one song in Macedonian language and a few instrumentals)
*Vol.4: Calm (acoustic, meditative and tranquil, mainly instrumentals with one beautifully arranged Macedonian Folk song)
