Album Notes

The MastroDamus project is the brainchild of Lindsay Mastro, a veteran musician / vocalist playing guitar, keyboards, bass and some percussion. Lindsay plays all of the instruments except where noted on the album and does all of the vocals. After searching for band members to fill the slots, Lindsay decided to go the solo route and proceed with recording on his own in MastroDamus Studios with the aid of session musicians and keyboardist Bonnie Mastro who also serves as producer for the debut album. The music is hard-driving guitar oriented in primarily the Classic Rock style. The lyrics have a certain sacastic wit and some of the songs are parodies on current political and personal themes. The artist also shows a tender side with a couple of love songs, a folk tune and a very powerful patriotic ballad that may bring a tear to the eye.
