Rock band Merry and the Mood Swings counters doom & gloom with drums, guitars, sax and a passel of punchy lyrics set to rock, pop and blues. The result is their new Grammy-contending CD, Attack of the Mood Swings, submitted by NARAS member Phil York, engineer of three previous Grammy winners. Lead cut “Metrosexual” is a rock romp where fashionista meets her male match; “Trailer Park Living” gives a nod to the blues; the rocker “Instructional World” is a beat-driven machine peppered with lyrics normally found on consumer packaging.

The Mood Swings respond to today’s world with humor and sass, proving that if you want fun, sometimes you've just gotta be Merry.
