I am glad to see that Matt finally got a chance to show his true talents. I've not met anyone else that is SO talented on every instrument known to man. He is a true musician. Good Job Matt! It sounds great. Wasted and Wanting seems to be my favorite, so far. They ar all starting to grow on me!

Thank you for featuring this beautiful debut CD of Matt Beck. His songs are a great tribute to this extraordinary musician. Anybody that has heard Matt play live in concert can see and hear what the man does and how he compliments every singer or band that he performs with. He has such a beautiful writing style and his songs that are easy to listen to are written in such a great song form with some very complex rhythms. His choice of words are very meaninful and just about everyone can relate to what he says. It is easy to sing along with the CD after only hearing it once. I find it intriguing that he can write a very slow balade, but chooses a very happening and moving accompaniament to go along with it. His songs make me very happy. Dolores

This CD has been in the work for some time and I have to say it has been worth the wait. Matt is amazing at what he does for those he plays with, but the talent of him as a solo artist is just astounding. The amazing range in his voice can be heard as soon as you push play. Ending with the reason us fans fell in love with Matt is Baby Blue which highlights his amazing skill on the keys. Those of us that have followed Matt and his career over the last 5+ years are treated to a CD that is simply Matt at his finest. My personal favs West 70 and Do you Believe. Congrats to Matt on an amazing debut CD, can't wait to see what the sophmore follow up brings!
