Album Notes

"MUH!" (pronounced as "MOO!") by Matterhorn Project is unique in pop history. There are cows singing and bells tingling, yodelling and alpine horns, all supported by an infectious eigthies disco-beat and a slightly spaced-out sense of humour. The track stormed the Swiss and international charts in 1985 and got known and loved for its sense of comedy and tongue-in-cheek citing of Swiss clichés. On this website Matterhorn Project offers you quicktime and free mp3 listening samples, quicktime-video and lots of background information.

The first album of MATTERHORN PROJECT with the two top ten hits "MOO!" ("MUH!" in the original Swiss release) and "Yo-lollo-diuh" is back again. Directly mastered from the 1985 original tapes of course, but in superb digital quality. Not only this - seven more bonus tracks come along on "MUH! ...and more".

The extensive booklet shows charts positions, record sleeves, the original graphics of "Chilbi-Time", a japanese sleeve - this is a must-have collector's item!

And what's more: children love the cow groove. Let's MOO!

A fun CD to listen to!
author: wILL
I decided to get this CD for my brother as his birthday gift, but had great difficulty sending it, we kept on wanting to listen to it ourselves! One of the tracks were below the belt, but the rest was really fun to listen to. Track 2 and 4 is the family's favorite, but the first (MUH) always created a laugh-out-loud response.

I am a school nurse and bought the CD to use at Eisenhower Elementary School promoting healthy eating. I will be focusing on calcium needs of students and encouraging drinking and eating dairy products to meet the body's requirement. The Muh song that I heard while traveling in Switzerland will be our theme song!!! It is fun and upbeat, the students will love it!!! Vicky White RN LSN
