Album Notes

My name is Matthew Clough (singer-songwriter musician and entertainer). I live in Northern California and have just released a family folk rock album for children of all ages. The new CD, “The Sky’s The Limit” is now available! I will be promoting the album by playing at various venues, school sites, festivals and benefit shows. The other musicians that contributed to the album are Butch Boswell on string instruments, Mark Folkrod playing drums, and Sam Sharp on bass guitar. They are musicians involved in other bands and projects in San Luis Obispo California. Mr. Boswell has performed with “The Mother Hips,” and is currently in a band with Mark Folkrod called “Virgil Cane.” Sam Sharp, front man of the band “Joose” is currently in the process of recording a solo album.The purpose of the album was to raise awareness and support various organizations involving and educating children. I am currently an education specialist/special education teacher. Over the past year I have performed in numerous towns in order to unite communities through music. I have also performed in various school districts promoting reading and writing. Lesson plans and story books are being designed to accompany the songs from both the debut album, “The Sky’s The Limit,” and the album to be released in 2009/2010.
