Album Notes

Kids Songs for Everyone is the debut album by Matthew King. It features catchy sing-along-songs that won’t make you go crazy after listening to them over and over. The lyrics are also inlcuded in the CD! These songs are for the “kid” in all of us as well!

You’ll absolutely love “What’s Your Favorite Shape”, it’s a fun sing-along that gets the young ones learning by music! They’ll find all sorts of shapes at your house, guaranteed! :)

“The Penguin Hop” is in the style of “Hokey Pokey”; a dance around tune that gets you & your kids all tired out!

"Clean" is a 'bath-time is fun-time' tune in the same vain as the infamous Sesame Street song "Rubber Ducky".

"You're My Friend" is a terrific song about how friends are important. As the lyrics state, "You can depend on me, because you're my friend!"

At the OFFICIAL WEBSITE at www.thefamilytrio.com, You can preview each song, buy one track or buy the full album! Enjoy the Songs!

It's great for kids, but the female vocals add a subtext for adults that's equal

I heard "Wash Your Hair" shortly after it was recorded, and I have never been able to banish it from my mind since. Every time I wash my hair, it comes back. As a kid, I hated having my hair washed, but as an adult, I can't get enough of Matt's song on the subject. It's great for kids, but the female vocals add a subtext for adults that's equally awesome. My hair rules, and it's due in no small part to Matt King's advice on how to take care of it.

Hail to the greatest child entertainment since Suess!
author: The New York Times
This CD was a compilation of some very original and soothing music pieces. A new and refreshing collection of "nursery ryhmes", I foresee both the child and the parent enjoying this CD immensely. Fun for the whole family and sure to go down as one of your children's favorite CD's of their childhood!

Educational songs too
author: Amy Stark
The song about Shapes is not only educational (as a teacher I plan to use it in the classroom as a shape recognition exercise), but the song itself is lyrically beautiful with deep and soothing harmonies. The Spelling song is another song I plan to use in my classroom before we begin our spelling exercises. Songs have a way of becoming inadvertent lessons for kids because they are fun and memorable. Songs like this make my job easier!
