Album Notes
Timothy Lee Matthews is a true piped piper. His musical trip is well worth the adventure.

Matthews is the writer of the blues classic "Breaking Up Somebody's Home" recorded by artists such as B.B.King, Bette Midler, Etta James, Albert King and many others.

He is a master storyteller whose songs graced several national movie sound tracks. His music grabs the listener and takes him on a vivid and contineous journey as the words stimulate the mind, settling the heart to a relaxed intense 60 minutes. You live and breathe with the artist through his songs. This is riding music.

Having finished a collection of short stories and currently working on his first novel. An Actor in film and stage, in 2005, he stole the show in the hit stage play, "It Ain't Nothing But the Blues," at the Curcuit Playhouse in Memphis. Matthews is the self described, "Artist of all times." A rare dying breed, still, his loyal following swells everyday. Don't be swept by this monstrous tidal wave. Ride it for the thrill!

Voted one of the 50 best new blues artist in the world. "Songs For The Greats" is a tribute to artists who influenced him.

A real Memphis music man who dares you to be great.
