Album Notes

Hello - My name is Matthew Schoening. I am also known as "Mr Cello Man" to the locals in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Some of you may know some of my older work from my "Wootah" project I did a few years back. This is a new project of mine, and incorporates solo electric cello through live looping. My live performance is done with no pre-recorded tracks. Everything is looped and layered as I play. All of the sounds are from the cello. This album is an example of my live performances within a studio setting, with a few modifications here and there to enhance the listening experience, but for the most part, what you hear on this CD is how I play live.

This is a new project, and this is my debut album with this project. I hope that you will become a part of the beginning of this path, and share the experience with me along the way!
