Album Notes

Matthew Schoening is a young up and coming artist who applies his unique style of composition and performance towards speaking to you through his music. Using live looping and layering techniques, Matthew takes you on a musical journey that is perfect for just about any activity or situation.

Matthew has played everywhere from dance halls with his up-beat compositions, to concert halls with his more orchestral compositions. He has played Seattle Symphony Hall with a full orchestra backing him, to private parties in a living room. He has played for Yoga conventions and classes with his meditative and rhythmic sounds, to doubling up with DJ's and playing at popular dance clubs.

Whether you want to snap into a creative mind set, practice some yoga, have dinner guests over, pursue active activities, meditate, or if you just want to listen to some great music, Matthew's music is for you.

Since Matthew utilizes live looping and layering, what you hear on his recordings are what you hear at a live show. These are in fact live recordings that have captured a complete performance, rather than just the music itself.
