Album Notes

Formerly performing as John’s Off the Band, Mattia steps forward to perform under his own name. This talented young artist’s music mixes influences such as Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, and The Specials, but his art is inspired by the music of the 50s and 60s all shaken up with Hawaiian melodies and the spirit of surfing.

Mattia’s July 2, 2005, solo performance at the Kuta Food Festival in Bali was taped for broadcast on Indonesian television. After years playing festivals and clubs in Europe and Indonesia, Mattia has been performing in Bali with his current Indonesian band since February 2006. His performances include a show at the Bali Hard Rock Cafe for Hard Rock Radio.

Mattia’s new album “Sing-along” will be released before Christmas 2008.
