Matt Jones is not a former University of Arkansas quarterback. Matt Jones is a former University of Arkansas dropout and a solo acoustic performer native to Fayetteville. He\'s received a NAMA award for Best New Singer/Songwriter of the Year in April of 2006, played all over the country, and shared the stage with acts such as Ingram Hill, Will Hoge, Needtobreathe, and Blues Traveler.

\"Acoustic EP/Plus+3 EP\" is Jones\' first debut recording. Recorded in two different sessions as two different releases, this compliation comprises both EP\'s into one cohesive package. \"Acoustic EP\" was recorded in November of 2004 and released as a six track recording on home-made CD-Rs. A year later, \"Plus+3 EP\" was recorded and released as an add-on to the previous recording, also as a home-made CD-R. In early 2006, Jones decided to combine both EP\'s and press the record professionally.

Though the record is entirely acoustic, Jones displays his ability as a triple threat immediately as a songwriter, guitar player, and singer. He has offered something for everyone here ranging from topics, tempos, to mood and vibe. Even at the birth of his craft, Jones bleeds emotion on this record and it\'s something everyone should hear at least once.
