Album Notes

Matt's 5th CD features 16 tracks of jazz-fusion instrumentals. Matt has been known to call his music bossa-fusion, but such descriptions are always insufficient ... just click on the previews and hear for yourself!

Recorded during 2006, this LP includes a wide range of rhythms and moods, but always with Matt's inventive melodic stylings. You can hear echoes of Ravel, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Jeff Beck and the 5th Dimension here.

The compositions are intricate and beautifully arranged and played on a range of classic percussion, guitar and keyboard instruments. This is music to calm your mind at the end of a hard day!

lovely relaxing music with fantastic titles
author: Daniel Maitland
This is finally what the world needs: music for grown-ups who want to sit and watch the world go by with a sympathetic soundtrack. An original pop musicians take on latin/ bossa jazz - thankfully unspoiled by the Berklee nonsense or over reverence for 50 year old conventions. Beautifully produced music from the heart. Lovely.

A rare collection of honest music which twists and turns throughout!
author: Ben Henderson
Relaxing, creative and inspiring: this is a rare work which is uplifting and suprising: very laid back jazzy vibes reminiscent of a bygone period of music without being dated - this is timeless and classic bossa listening music for those that like their music grown up and cool. Expect the unexpected though - funky guitar riffs and harmonies on a distorted electric guitar soars over unusual time signatures...the title of this album says it all: if you liked album tracks as they were done circe 197* then you'll love this! Have a listen - then buy it. Recommended. *****
