When I graduated from college, I moved from Ohio to California on my bicycle without a cell phone, credit card, and only six hundred dollars and a guitar. Moment in the Sun is the book and soundtrack I wrote based on that adventure.

I've since moved into a 1970 VW Bus to tour and spread the possibilities of a life without barriers. Palka 4 President is the documentary that has been filming my progress. Videos following this journey can be viewed on my website VWBusTour.com.

Down The Road is my first studio LP with my backing band, the Caravan. The album evokes the feel of the early 70s singer/songwriter in the vein of Van Morrison and early Bruce Springsteen, complete with brass and keys. Simultaneously, the honest and straightforward lyrics are blended with the pop acoustic undertones of Jack Johnson. Musical references and labels aside, Down The Road’s feel good vibe and timeless summer groove is a celebration for the simple life.
