Matt Schickele is a songwriter, composer and performer living in New York City. He also plays in the M Shanghai String Band (mshanghaistringband.com), and was previously in Beekeeper, the influential 90s indie rock band.

a good album to chill out with. Matt is a good guitarist and has a really nice voice. overall, a great album. see him live whenever you can; he rocks.

Another great solo album

I've only listened to the CD a couple of times so far, but the songs are crisp and original and mature and interesting, as usual, and the only thing I would remark that seems new to me is that there is less dissonnance than in past albums.
