Album Notes

Matt Shenk is a performing singer songwriter. Some of his musical influences are James Taylor, Billy Joel, John Mayer, as well as all soul music ala Blues, Jazz, & R&B. This all blends to form a style of a modern day singer songwriter with a little touch of folk, rock, soul, and a lot of sincerity. He is currently performing full time all around Florida. He recently released his debut Solo Album "I Remember" @ the 2004 Winter Park Art Festival. Matt performed live at the Festival in conjuction with the #1 Central Florida Jazz Station WLOQ.Some of the other acts included some World Renowned Artist such as Joyce Cooling and Jonathan Butler.

Two weeks ago, on tuesdar Feb 24th I was in Orlando enjoying a Margarita on a bar in front of Cirque Solei in Down Town Disney in the afternoon.  I heard Matt play guitar and sing "Ode to You".  It is a great song, the whole CD is great. I bought it from him right there. I play guitar and I wish I could learn these songs, may be if I could get the cords? My favorite new artist!

I saw Matt last night at 301 Park, and fell in love with him.  I'm a huge fan of Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Coldplay, etc., and Matt is like listening to all my favorites, with a new twist.  He's an amazing guitar player, and puts his heart and soul into his work.  I'm going to be watching out for him on Pandora!

Great sound- soothing
