Matt Wards music rocks!! In next to no time you are humming the tunes or singing the lyrics!
I had never previously heard of Matt - this album will make me look out for other albums by him. This is not an album that you would get tired of easily! In Turn it over you kinda know where he's been - his soul is there.
Overall the album really does make you feel ALIVE AGAIN!

The good stuff back again

Definitely agree with the John Mellencamp/Van Morrison analogy that's been associated with Matt. It's great to see this type of music around again, as it has been missing for too long, and is reminiscent of the greats like Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
There are some great rock numbers like "American Sound" and "Boys Alright", and "Cari's Song" then moving on to more soulful tunes like the beautiful "I wonder", a foot-tapping masterpiece that will keep you listening for hours and hours. Once you play it, you'll have to hit the repeat button and go for it all over again. After listening to this album, you definitely will be "Alive Again"
Brilliant Album!
