Album Notes

Hailing from Georgetown, S.C., Matt Williams hit the Austin, TX music scene in late 2001 to pursue a career in music. With his first record, "Let's Work it Out," and a crack band of Austin's finest and funkiest musicians, he's beginning to make quite a splash.
It's not easy to pin down a genre on Williams. It's funky, soulful, fun, artsy and melodic. He also happens to be a very unique singer. One reporter said "if it were possible for Hank Williams and Harry Nilsson to have a kid it would sound like Matt Williams."
Deborah Lynne, host of an Austin radio talk show commented, "I used to go see Norah Jones when she performed around Austin. I told everyone she would be a big star. I'm making the same prediction about Matt Williams."
So treat yourself to a well-crafted album and share it with your friends.

I love this cd. A friend of mine saw Matt perform with his band in Austin, TX. She bought the Cd and told me I had to get it. This guy has it all. He writes fun and funky stuff and then sensitive love songs. A great new talent.
