After scoring his first Independent film, guitarist, Matthew Woolsey has decided to share his music with the general public.

His first CD, titled "New Balance", can be heard in Salon's and Spa's, throughout Northern California.

"New Balance" is a collection of arrangements of acoustic contemporary instrumentals, that can be enjoyed by a wide audience of listeners.

Matt's musical interests are self indulgent, however, with the recent success and distribution of "New Balance", he has been inspired to continue to record and produce his music.

"His music is very soothing and relaxing" Tracks such as Rebecca and Inspiration are a musical testimony to Woolsey's presence and offer proof that he is one of the most inventive and graceful guitarists of our time.

"New Balance" was recorded live in Woolsey's studio to best capture the melodic sound he wanted.

Woolsey, attended college in Southern California and received private music lessons on and off for about 15 years.

He then relocated to Northern California in 1988.

He has been a self taught musician for most of his career.

His real interest lies in scoring films, but knows that the Holistic and New Age market as well as the Salon and Spa industries are where businesses and individuals get the most enjoyment from his music.

His music is introspective, melodic and simple.
