Mattz has a special kind of gift for observing true life’s experiences of people in the world. Not only other's his own life experiences also. And he is able to transform those feelings and ideas into songs or instrumental music.
Yes ! His music is a fusion of feelings about God and people. That is really amazing !
He started to play few songs at the age of 6 on a wind organ at his home without any basic music studies. Eventually, he played church hymns and whatever he hear from anywhere, he could easily memorize and he could play on that organ. His father tried to teach music notations but he just ignored that ! Age of 9 he got a guitar and harmonica. He tried on that also.
Day by day, his self music studies has grown wonderfully !Now he is able to play Piano, Pipe Organ, Wind organ, all kind of Music keyboards, Violin, Lead, Rhythm and Bass guitars, Recorder, Harmonica, Accordian and few Asian music instruments also.
At the age of 21 he composed 9 songs and released locally. Album name was " Let us Sing"... After 3 years He released another 11 songs named " Trust". Most of the lyrics he has taken from the book of Psalms, Bible. And followed by another 12 songs named " Tribute". Topics about Love, Peace, Friendship, Blind, Orphan, Nuns, Jesus, End time..etc. And he could sing in these albums without any vocal studies except church choir member experience ! And he chose the local talented people for singing in his albums from many countries !
All of these work has done without any music studies. A real miracle ! After these ventures, he went for study music and earned the degree in Music !
Few months back Cdbaby has been released his album officially named" Best of Mattz Johns - 13 Golden Hits". He is a time traveller. He has visited many countries, and met lots of people. Listend and shared the true life expereinces of the people. From that, he made the latest one, named " Mattz Johns - Instrumentals". Happiness and Sadness, he mingled and mixed through his new instrumental songs !
