Album Notes

“Matter of Time” is an eclectic array of songs put together by the Chicago area based trio of siblings, the Matz Broz. It runs the gamut from country-rock to psychedelic to classic rock to reggae with other flavors sprinkled in between. The central theme is all about our most precious element, time itself. The Broz, Rich (guitars, vocals, mandolin, snoring, Peruvian whistle, synthesizer), Rob (basses, guitars, vocals) and David (drums, percussion, vocals, harmonica, guitars, saxophones, keyboards, mandolin) having been stuck with each other since childhood, have been playing for years either as a unit or with many other various projects. With a little help from some very talented friends, Chris Lysne (guitar),Andreanna Moravec (vinola), Bobby Mielcarski (percussion) Debe Welch and Kristi Alsip (vocals) and Chimpo (hand farts), there’s a different sound around every corner.

REVIEWS

I love Matter of Time the cover on the album is so clever!

Each song has its owen different style but they all go together. Also in track 9 Bye Bye Friday features Bob Matz and a talented lady guest playing on vinola (violin slash viola). Also the lyrics of Propaganda are amazing. I have memorized the majority of the lyrics."i hear these things you say but i don't understand ya"-Bob Matz singing Propaganda. I love Matter of Time. Y'all sure do smell nice and flowery.

This is a classic album...
author: Hubert Matezl Jr.
This is a classic album, from the music to the artwork, well worth the money. I know the members too, Rich playes live gigs at Miss Kitties among other bars, it was a delight to hear Rob sing, "Visions Of The Night" is one of my favorites. And Dave, he worked hard on this project too, shout out to the broz! You wont find good music like this on the mainstream radio because its not an album made for profit. Its made for the art of creating something big and I dig that. So will you if you buy this album. Sorry for the late post, never knew I could comment until now.

This is the kind of CD that keeps
author: DLM
This is the kind of CD that keeps playing in your head long after the player is shut off. I enjoyed Rob's tracks in particular, and think the sound and clarity in his voice is great!
