Album Notes

Singer/Songwriter Maureen Carr's "Stones Unturned" contains 14 originals, ranging from heartfelt ballads to tonque-in-cheek humorous commentary. Recorded in Bernville, Pennsylvania with husband Ben Carr on bass and guitar, the album also showcases the talents of Rod DeGeorge on electric guitar; Travis Wetzel on fiddle, violin, and viola; Omer Godinet on percussion; and Maureen's daughter Meghan Carr with harmony vocals. For those who know Maureen Carr for her children's music ("Alukaleigh Lutz & Other Songs for Kids"), this is quite a departure... and a worthy one at that.

I bought the CD on a tip from a friend. I listened to it on the website and had to have it. I played it for my husband when we went on vacation and he loved it, too. Maureen is a very talented woman and I look forward to more of her music.
