Album Notes

Maureen O'Donnelll ia a singer/songwriter and musician who embraces her many gifts with a POWERFUL ironic outlaw class and grace.
More than singer writer, poet, Maureen truly is a MUSE; a real and significant inspiration to others. Her presence is Electric and gripping yet she remains unassuming. Many artists owe, in part, their own inspirational fire to her spark.
A musician's musician, Maureen gives herself without deference. She allows all who draw from her the karma of their own use of her inspiration.
This hermit/poet lives with the fusion of years of playing smoky clubs, concert halls and studios; mining memories from which come some painful truths and a source of spiritual "AHA'S".
ROGUE ELEMENT is her first solo effort. Written and performed (except where noted) by her in a small enviable space with an awesome view of undisturbed nature. Thriving in this enviornment gives testament to her powerful abilities. She did the hard part alone, with her four legged companion, Kelly. She has learned to navigate the landscape of the recording process, albeit, backasswards!
Maureen's artistic credits are stunning but rarely spoken of. She prefers that her music speaks of the influences her vast experience has provided.
I hope you have the good fortune of seeing her in live performance. Not many can keep up with her energy. A jewel envied and hard to hold onto. Good luck trying!
Give ROGUE ELEMENT a good, loud listen! Maybe you too will feel the hand of Spirit upon her shoulder.
