Album Notes

Album description

This is a concept album with a generally environmental tome. I have been told that concept albums are out of fashion but I have never been a slave to what is currently in and what is out. Listening to this record will take you on a journey, albeit not a linear one, through time. From the present with "Turn It Off and Listen" to the middle of the last century with "A Place to Play" to time of the homesteaders with "Prairie Soil" and to pre-Columbian times with "They Walked This Land" and "Magic Cloud".

About Me

I am a singer/songwriter/musician with a point of view that cuts across generational lines. My songs cover the range from whimsical humor to tender love songs.

I write on such topics as human's inability to comprehend the incomprehensible, for example road maps or an income tax form, the quirky -- often inconsistent -- attitudes held by people and the universal topic of love. My songs are written in a clear conversational style which is easy to relate to. The tunes fit the mood of the lyrics.

I deliver the lyrics in a pleasant voice using a friendly and intimate style. I accompany myself on acoustic guitar with additional sequenced instrumental backup. If you like to hear songs sung by the people who wrote them then you'll like this album.

Hear some songs you've never heard before. TAKE A CHANCE!!!
