Album Notes

Where the Words Go is Andrea Maxand's third solo release. She recorded it with Jason McGerr and Nick Harmer of the Seattle four-piece Death Cab for Cutie at Avast! Studios, Seattle in January, 2003.

Where the Words Go embellishes Maxand's characteristically tense, driven melodies with fuller, more ambitious arrangements. According to The Stranger's Sean Nelson, she is "one of Seattle's most distinctive talents," and Chris Burlingame of Rockrgrl writes that Where the Words Go is poised to become "the breakthrough album by the Northwest's best-kept secret."

I've really been into Andrea's music since doing a show with her a couple of years back. Her music just keeps getting better, and her latest is just outstanding! Rarely do i buy an album then listen to it again right after i just listened, but i had to with this one. I'd highly recommend picking it up!
