Album Notes

I am a native of Phoenix, Arizona I started singing at the age of 3. My mother (a pianist) would sit me at the piano and I would sing while she played. At the age 0f 5, I entered the school talent show and won 1st place. I then appeared on the Lew King Ranger Show where I won the talent competition and became a regular on T.V. for the next 10 years.

As a singer, I have worked with great artist such as Louise Jordan, Ella Fitzgerald, louis Armstrong, Lionel Hamlet, Wayne Newton, Diana Ross, Big Pete Pearson, Blues Ratio, Dr. Fish and many more. I recorded my first CD with the Blues Ratio Band entitled "Maxine" in 2000. I have played with many bands in the Valley of the Sun. I now have my own band called J Factor,
with my daughter Lady J. who is also a great singer, together we are an item. Audiences across the valley enjoy our unique style, a mother and daughter combo. If you enjoy listening to the sound of some good old down home blues, jazz and straight up funk. Look out for Maxine and J Factor, you won't be disappointed, cause baby, we are HOT!!!
