Max Aruj and Kyle Malkin are two young, promising film composers who show great talent and ability to make it big in Hollywood. Aruj and Malkin's work collaborating on film scoring since the fall of 2008 has resulted in much of the selected works featured on this album. Blending styles and paying homage to some of their favorite composers, Max and Kyle bring a variety of styles for a variety of short films to the table. Scores to short films such as Matt Zien's "Prince Charming" (2009) and the Younesi Brothers' "Liberation" (2008) are prominently featured on the album, but it doesn't just stop there. Music from the epic short film "Showdown," "Satisfaction," "Retrospective," "Piano Man," "Le Bouton Rouge," "Sternutophilia," and "Jamie" is all featured as well as several previously unreleased tracks including the bonus track from "Prince Charming," "Peasants & Kings." Aruj and Malkin's album of short film scores is a colorful blend of the many avenues of film scoring they have traversed and shows a promising future for the two young, daring film composers. You are certain to love it!

Max Aruj and Kyle Malkin are sure to be next up in the lineage of the Hollywood movie music industry.
