Album Notes

The album Homage is a chance for Max to play some of his favourite acoustic tunes and pay his dues to the influences on his playing over the years.
The album features the beautiful vocal talents of Laura Bettinson and the raw Blues of Cherry Lee Mewis.

Max Milligan has been a performing guitarist since 1973.

He is currently writing with U.K. singer songwriter Jayne Taylor ( Beverly Craven, Liberty X, Sugababes). He gigs around Europe with John Verity ( ex Argent ) and a sensational up and coming jazz/blues star Cherry Lee Mewis. Max also teaches Guitar at I.C.M.P. Kilburn London UK.

Quotes:

Andy Levy ( Norah Jones Handsome band )

Sue Marchant (radio show host UK) finally asked me to play a song, to my relief, and I obliged with “Washing Day.” Her next on-air guest was Max Milligan, a stellar acoustic guitarist. Max and I had so much fun jamming in the warm-up room that we decided to do a spontaneous jam on the air together with Django Reinhardt’s “Tears.”

Dario Cortese ( Amazing Guitarist from Sardinia)...your album is awesome, good luck..........

Dave Jones ( Guitarist London ) Your CD is top drawer please can I have some transcriptions...

The Guitar Institute London.......we are playing your CD in office and we are liking......

Big Up, Max!
Outrageously raging guitar, thanx!
Let's jam some day!
