Album Notes

Max's Family Band plays a mix of jazzy, grooving original children tunes that are fun for everyone!
Dance to the Latin-tinged "It's Time for A Baño", ride a "Rockin' Zebra", play with a "One-Sock Octopus" and meet a "Gobbledygookster Baby"(whatever that is!).
Appropriate for ages 2 and up.

Max Negbaur will be 3 in June, 2009. He is the muse for the band, and a little ray of sunshine.

Gary Negbaur (Max's Dad) is a pianist/singer/songwriter who has performed his jazzy, often humorous, songs across the U.S., Europe and Australia. He also writes for musical theater.
Yvette Negbaur (Max's Mom) is a musical theater and cabaret singer who has performed across the U.S.

Our musical friends include guitarist Doug Califano, bassist Dom Richards and drummer Nat Seeley.

Max's Family Band

My 3 year old grandson keeps asking to hear this CD. He especially loves Gobbledygookster, asking for it over and over. And for some reason, when he's ready to dance, he asks for Rockin' Zebra. For myself, I'm amazed at how many music styles there are, so I don't even get tired of listening to a kid's CD. We've already given it as a gift to three families and they all enthusiastically thanked us.

My 5 month old loves this album, 'One Sock Octopus' in particular. Actually, my husband and I love this album too! The tunes are catchy but not annoying. Each song is so different from the other and they move quickly; we sing and clap and snap along. This is the first kid's music album that we really enjoy and have urged all of our friend's to buy! Our favorite? 'Picky' of course!
