More cool MBB Blues, Ballads and Rock & Roll, ... only bigger & better!

Classic MBB bar-room Blues, Rock, and Ballads. Tight arrangements, another great guitar effort, killer vocals from Jeff Maynard. This cd is even better than the last. The lyrics on many of the tunes could stand alone as excellent poetry/prose even for a non- blues person. For example Ludmillas Wedding and Nasty Packages However, for me , a blues lover, they comprise a kick-ass smokin blues performance. Smokin' is Right!

Just when my MBB jones was kicking in heavy, they hit me over the head with this, a very special Nasty Package! I really didn't think they'd be able to match the emotion and power of their first excellent CD but the boys up and did it again. First rate Rockin/Blues. New addition Zeke wails on guitar too! Nice job boys...another winner!

The much anticipated second release from the Brothers is here and there is something for everyone on this disc. Personal favorites include Don't Mind Livin' Alone classic Maynard with a rock edge, Waitin' On A Bone showcases the talents of the boys and includes some smokin' guitar, Leave Me With Something Baby's wailing vocals, the introspective ballad Drifting Back, and of course the haunting title track Nasty Packages which offers you a brief glimpse into the dark side. Once again the Brothers have proven they can deliver and leave you wanting more. Five stars, don't miss this one!
