Album Notes

Mesmorizing and intense best describes the sound of the Mayonaise Farmers. Driving beats, grooving bass and hard guitars lay the foundation for this unique and sometimes psychedelic music. The lyrical content of their songs are as introspective as they are enlightening.

After gaining local recognition in the 90's as the band Dagaz, the band split off from it's punk roots and decided to name themselves the Mayonaise Farmers. With a new name, and a different style of music writing, they began to make quite a buzz in their hometown of Nashville, TN. After some touring in the Southeast and MidWest, they hit the studio for a 9 month period to record their debut 10-cut CD "Drown". Full of solid and grooving sounds, the songs on "Drown" are full of "positive energy" with a eye towards the psychedelic.
