Horse Here Not Here is a diverse collection of electronic music, spanning a wide range of sonic flavors and stylistic references. The sounds in this album are inspired by vivid emotions, experiences, and struggles from the past three years.

Each production is approached with a blank slate and an open mind. Collages of sound and noise are added organically layer by layer, until a vivid emotional snapshot is captured. Numerous field recordings from real life situations have been spliced-in, creating an underlying feeling of "running behind the reality curtain."

There is no shortage of texture in the music of Horse Here Not Here. Home-grown broken beats provide a foundation upon which seething synthesizers and dramatic orchestration are layered. Grimy bass lines weave in and out of the organic beats, raw unprocessed vocals intertwine with robotic counterparts, fuzzy electronic noises writhe around like drunken snakes in an industrial dystopia. Sporadic piano passages provide welcome contrast to these borderline chaotic tapestries of sound.

This album is an escape down a wormhole to places of imagination and fantasy, tethered to reality by thin strands of cathartic lucidity.
