Album Notes

Brian Mazzaferri, a 23 year old self-styled Singer/Songwriter/Philosopher from the suburbs of Chicago, has a lot to say. Whether about love or work or play, his lyrics are always the centerpiece of his songs, which always prove incredibly rewarding over many listens. He is committed to making his own music his own way, and has now teamed up with Sophic Records, which has given him free rein in the creation of All Roads Lead To Roads, placing him with co-producer Craig Williams and letting him loose.

All Roads Lead To Roads is what it purports to be, a step in a journey. The songs are all songs of change and transition, trying to hold onto ideas and truths in a constantly shifting and accelerating world, seeking love, and purpose, and comfort. From the brash, declamatory “All We Are” to the intimate, fire-on-a-hot-night comforts of “Away and Through” to the ethereal, wistful “Snowfall,” the album is a journey and a half, and one which only becomes richer with each repeated spin.

All Roads is the first official LP from Brian Mazzaferri, although his folk-pop/modern-dance/musical Green Eyes has been recorded but not yet commercially released.
