Mazzard Effect's debut album, "Flooded With Light" was recorded at Sal Locascio's personal studio, “Purple Chimney Studios“, in Long Island, NY. Here, Sal began writing, arranging, recording and mixing the songs for Mazzard Effect in early 2008. Sal has played in many bands over the years (his favorite of which being FOOS - {shameless plug} available on cd baby and itunes!) and felt it was time to express his own music with his distinct signature.
