Album Notes

Mike Bell is a professional musician who has been both a performer and a composer for many years.

He began playing piano and studying Classical music at the age of 5.

He was soon seduced by jazz and rock'n'roll...and it has been said that his style clearly derives from all three influences.

Mike composes, records and performs worldwide, working alongside many well-known artists both on stage and as a studio musician. These include Albert Lee, Dennis Locorriere (the voice of Dr Hook), Benny Gallagher, Pick Withers (Dire Straits) and Sonny Curtis of the Crickets to name but a few.

'Now that they've all gone home' is Mike's second instrumental Album, and has taken him back to his roots; producing a collection of highly reflective and evocative compositions - It is a journey of outstanding insight and beauty.

The music on this album is the natural progression of the creative process. Mike composed and recorded these tracks in their order of appearance, creating a unique 'snapshot' of his feelings and reflections.

The result is an album of music that has an atmosphere of serenity and contemplation that we all can identify.

All compositions were written, performed, and produced by Mike Bell.
