The title track to this album has been causing more than a few ripples in modern soul circles in the last few months. The reason is simple. Not only is the cut a good 'un, but it sounds remarkably like a Marvin Gaye outtake. The melody is almost a cross between' Inner City Blues' and 'Come Live With Me Angel,' the good news is that the set's no one track wonder. On 'Amazing' and 'Grace,' Mr Bohannon dips into the Maxwell palette. However, when our man decides to be himself the quality remains high. Witness 'Bliss,' perhaps an even stronger cut than 'Build A Fire.' The song has a sweet and memorable melody whose considerable appeal is enhanced by the lilting vocal. Mr Bohannon wrote, produced and played on all the cuts here and if this set had the backing of a major label it would be huge.It could still be huge, seek it out and enjoy.
