Biography
SOBW (Son Of A Beautiful Woman)
I was living in Los Angeles from 1987 until 1991. I formed my Band "Lost Angels" then after a re-shuffle of personnel we became the Brian McDade Band.
With Steve McLalan on Electric Guitar, Dave Dellucca on Drums, Garret Sullivan on Bass, myself on Vocals, Harmonica and Rhythm Guitar.
"It's about getting them up to dance" said one Bar owner. Then Angela up in Molly's said "If they're dancing then they're not drinking".
So we worked these songs up and down the West Coast - Venice, Hermosa Beach, Santa Monica from the Valley to the Whisky in Hollywood. By the time we recorded the tunes we had a unique and finely honed sound and we couldn't stop them dancing.
All the songs were recorded at Clearlake Audio Studio in the San Fernando Valley. Sound Engineer Brian Levi.
The song "A Free Can" was recorded at London's Scarf Studios with John Oslow on Bass, Chris Hunt on Drums and Produced by Cha Burns.
It wasn't until 1997 when Record Company "The Road Goes On Forever" gave SOBW a release.
