Amanda comes from a small town in Southwestern Virginia close to Roanoke. This "Army Brat" grew up in the Philippines and Panama and believes that travel at such an early age brought about her passion to explore new places and meet all kinds of people.
After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre and Speech, Amanda spent a season at the renowned Barter Theatre studying and performing with Ernest Borgnine and Steve Allen. Subsequently, she appeared in stage productions at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. She then had the opportunity to travel across the United States with Southeastern Theatrical Productions musical theatre troupe. She is pleased and honored to have performed with the late Minnie Pearl ("How-dee") at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. Other notables she has performed with include Michael Bolton, Macy Gray and Ricky Martin.
Amanda is a veteran of cruiseships, having worked as an entertainer for Crystal Cruises, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, the "Big Red Boat" (Premier Cruise Lines), Seabourn Cruise Line and Princess Cruises.
In between stints on cruiseships, she pursues a career in the entertainment industry in the greater Los Angeles area. Her shows have been seen on stages from the famous Beverly Hills Hotel to San Diego's historic Del Coronado.

What a voice this girl has! I've had the immense pleasure of seeing her perform live, and this CD is just great. I love the choice of songs, and the story line of the CD, not many artists have the ability to do that anymore! Great CD.
