Album Notes

Matthew Christopher Davidson is a Canadian poet and musician who makes song-craft look easy. With years of experience as a session writer, sideman and live performer, music is a second language which he speaks like (perhaps better than) english. He has released one album, 'the waiting place', and his ep 'the lonely city' is in production, due for release early next year.

This is the kind of music you were meant to fall in love with,
the kind that has known you for a while but was too shy to ask you out.
This music is up for long walks on the beach,
because it will work that hard just to get to know you.
It's the kind of music that wears comfortable clothes,
can be found playing in intimate cafes and pubs often,
will speak to you after the show, has a good sense of humor,
isn't full of itself and is easy to relate to.
This music lives in a coastal town but has recently begun to travel abroad.
