Stirring the Soul
author: Joyce Carman
For anyone who has ever opened their heart to love and been disappointed, for anyone who has ever held a child in their arms and found bliss, for anyone who has ever wanted someone who doesn't want them back, for anyone who, on the path to self-discovery, realizes they ain't so bad after all: From These Seeds is an album worth listening to. More than just an amazing guitarist and banjo picker, and more than just a passionate singer, Joe McGuiness, above all else, is an excellent storyteller. His songwriting--reverent and honest--can't help but stir the soul.
