24 year old singer song writer Michael Lloyd pink was born and raised in west London. He started performing as a MC to Drum ’n’ Bass in school at the age of 11 however as the Jungle and Drum ‘n’ Bass craze began to die out and House and Garage scene came into play the number of MC ’s rose and Michael could not see any future in it.

Michael confirmed he wanted to become a singer after hearing the Boys II Men song “End of the Road”. As time went on this passion grew & Michael decided it was time to follow his heart, He then started vocal training with the Jazz singer Kathy Williams. For the next five years Michael sang, he sang from the moment he woke up to the moment he went to sleep and in that time he found his own voice and style. He listened religiously to Soul and Jazz Music and his main inspiration was that of Connor Reeves. He practiced the songs “Earthbound”, “My Fathers Son” and “Ordinary People” religiously until he had every note and rift perfected.

As a character Michael is a fun lovin' individual with a great sense of humor that only he understands...lol!!!

He is a generous & compassionate person & always willing to lend an ear in time of need. He is a perfectionist in all he does & open to critique as he always wants to better himself. This reflects in his music & writing style...

In 2000 Michael Lloyd Pinq heard some music coming from a building, he sat outside and began to sing along. After a while the music stopped and a producer named 'don-e' who had overheard Michael singing gave him the stepping stone into the industry. 'don-e' developed him as an artist and also taught him about the business side of the industry.

“I’m in Love with her” was Michael Lloyd Pinq first completed track Since then Michael has gone on to perform at various festivals including Victoria Park’s festival "Lovebox" and "The Country Show" at Brockwell Park. His song ‘My Baby’ has had play on various radio stations including Choice FM’s Richard Blackwood show and Radio1 the ‘Homegrown’ show. Michael has also toured with Alabama 3 and has worked with the likes of artists such as DON-E , OMAR ,

Michael Lloyd Pinq is a born performer who's biggest ambition has been/will be to touch the world with his music not only with his voice but with the words he sings. Michael writes from a personal deep prospective, his songs are derived from life's experiences, things he has undergone & witnessed. His songs are not only pleasant to the ear but also very warming to the heart, where his fans can relate to what message Michael is portraying. He is a singer of Soul and a lover of music and will carry on until nature prevents him.
