Album Notes

This is a grooving song (some Santana & Steely Dan influences) with a serious message.

This is a song about avarice and manipulation. Greed and fear have been the hallmarks of the Bush Presidency. Years from now, when our children are paying off the massive debt accrued due to the ineptitude of this man, they will marvel at how we allowed him to become a two term president.

Federal spending increased 45% during the first five years of his presidency. He and his administration have borrowed more money from foreign governments and banks than the previous 42 presidents COMBINED! 2,500 Americans and 50,000 - 100,000 Iraqis are dead as a result of the US invasion and occupation of Iraq - countless more have been physically and mentally wounded. The federal government now spends 7.4 BILLION dollars a DAY. Sweetened by great girl back ups and a Santana like guitar lead, McLeod strafes those who abuse power. Great groove, interesting dubs.
