MCO is Marcelo Carvalho Oliveira, a rock artist from Brasilia, Brazil’s capital city. A songwriter, singer and musician who also works as an arranger and producer. He usually revolves around rock music, the blues and bossa nova, with a touch of MPBr, the contemporary Brazilian Pop Music. “Lenha na fogueira” is one of his “ABC-XYZ” productions (Uma Produção “X-Tudo” MCO, in Brazilian Portuguese), in which he sings and plays everything by himself. It’s a song about a time in life when a man starts to ponder, and ends up worrying more about the things he hasn’t really done than about those which he has gotten right or wrong.
